ATAR PATHWAYS

Typically studied by more students at school as it is the least difficult of the 3 ATAR Maths subjects.

For students going to TAFE to study courses such as Trades, Business Admin, etc, or attending University to study subjects such as Commerce or Nursing, where high-level maths like Calculus are not required.

The most difficult Mathematics subject of the three ATAR courses. It can only be studied in tandem with Math Methods.

This is a prerequisite for any course at University that requires high-level Mathematics such as Engineering, Surveying, etc.  Students aiming to study courses such as Medicine often study the tandem to achieve their highest ATAR score as Mathematics subjects are the most objective and each subject receives a bonus percentage increase in the ATAR calculations.
